Corporate Vision

• To become North America’s leading supplier of metakaolin (WhitemudMK) to the cement industry:

• Metakaolin is a highly reactive supplementary cementing material (“SCM”)

4

What is Metakaolin?

Kaolin

• White-coloured clay• kaolinite, dickite,

halloysite, etc.

• Al2Si2O5(OH)4

• Principal uses:

• Filler and coating for paper

• Paint, plastics, ceramics, refractory, rubber

Metakaolin (WhitemudMK)

• Anhydrous, amorphous aluminosilicate

• Becomes chemically reactive• Principal use:

• Highly reactive SCM (Supplementary Cementing Material)

• Recognized as SCM by CSA and ASTM

Heated To650 to 800ºC

• Metakaolin is a pozzolanic SCM created from kaolin clay and used to produce high performance concrete:

Advantages of WhitemudMK in Concrete

• Increases compressive and flexural strength

• Ability to lower costs for concrete producers:

• Optimize mixes to reduce total cementitious inputs

• Reduces permeability, increases durability

• Shortens concrete set time

• Lowers CO2 signature of concrete

• Improves architectural properties

• Lighter colour

• Reduces efflorescence

• Significantly mitigates alkali-silica reaction

• Verified WhitemudMK performance through third-party product testing

• Received and evaluated third-party marketing studies

• Successfully pilot tested process equipment

• Obtained environmental approval

• Received expressions of interest for purchase of up to 200,000 tonnes per year of metakaolin

• Site construction commenced October 2006

• Completed NI 43-101 independent technical report (Scott Wilson RPA Inc.)

• Successfully raised gross proceeds of $54.2 Million in Initial Public Offering on February 28, 2007

• Listed on TSX.V as WMK

• Expanded mineral land base (28,240 acres)

• Conducted successful exploration and ore delineation drilling programs (68 holes, 2218 m)

• Ore extraction began 16 Nov ~ 25,000 t stockpiled

• At Dec 1 2007, plant construction >90% complete, on budget and on schedule for Q1 2008 production
