JAMMU: Thieves on Sunday struck at two hous-es in Domana and one at Satwari besides twoshops in Samba and decamped with lakhs ofrupees.

As per the details, Mahesh Kumar, resident ofUdeywala lodged a complaint with police that hewas out with his family and on returning back sawlocks of the house broken and Rs 3 lakh missingfrom cash chest.

In another incident, Kuldeep Gupta, resident ofChatha also lodged a similar complaint withSatwari Police in which he disclosed that jewelleryand Rs 3 lakh have been stolen from his house.Meanwhile, Suman Sharma, resident of Bathindilodged a complaint with Domana police thatthieves took away jewellery from her house.

Meanwhile, burglars also struck at two shops anddecamped cash worth lakhs of rupees from borderroad area of Samba.

Thieves targeted two cosmetic shops owned byBushan Pargal, son of Rattan Chand, resident ofWard No 12 Samba and Varun Gupta son of VijayKumar, resident of Parel Samba and decampedwith cash amounting to lakhs of rupees.

JAMMU: A man was crushed to death by a car onSunday while police have detained three personsin this regard.

As per the detail, a trucker who was helpinganother driver whose vehicle broke down was hitby a speeding car which was on its way toPathankot. The injured was shifted to hospitalwhere doctors declared him as brought dead. Thedeceased has been identified as Sham Singh, resi-dent of Pathankot.
