”By implementing the ECOeffect system, drivers learn to drive economically, to better manage the truck and the result is: fuel
economy, less cost for repairs and less downtime when the truck does not generate profit.
Until now we've trained 36 drivers and already we notice an improvement in truck exploitation. The greatest reduction in
fuel consumption during the course was 3,7 l / 100km.
We train 4 drivers per week, so until October 2013, we will train about 190 drivers from our company.”

Follow-up of drivers’ performance results on a permanent basis:
• Analysis of reduction in fuel consumption in relation to situation prior to training:
- For the whole group of trained drivers
- For each individual driver

• Quarterly analysis of “corrective actions”:

ECOeffect Competition
Champion driver selection is based on:
• personal training result registered with EETS – 30% weight;
• personal evolution in consumption before and after training measured 3 months after training – 70 % weight.
Champion company selection is based on:
• personal results during the training – 20% weight;
• company learning profile after training – 60% weight;
• coverage / roll-out within the company – 20% weight.
