Dear Parishioners and Friends of Our Lady of
Guadalupe,
This weekend we begin our Winter Novena to
St. Jude. We welcome Franciscan Fr. Mario
Serrano, OFM Conv. Father’s theme is “Belonging
to Christ: A Franciscan Perspective to Living the
Gospel.” What better way to begin our New Year
than by attending this Novena. I pray that 2020
will bring us into a closer relationship with God. I
guarantee that attending our Novena will bring
each of us many graces and strength. Invite your
family and friends to join us.
In the first reading for today we hear from the
prophet Isaiah. Isaiah writes: “The people who
walked in darkness have seen a great light.” My
prayer for all of us is that no matter what darkness
you have or are presently experiencing: you will
experience the Light of Christ. He promised that
whoever follows Him would not walk in darkness.
He will see us through whatever we are dealing
with in our life. May all of us experience that
wonderful light of the Christ.
Have a Blessed Week,
Fr.Tony
Many thanks to all who attended
the Mass of Thanksgiving of newly
ordained Fr. Eleazar, OMI. He is
now being assigned to our Oblate Shrine of St.
Joseph the Worker in Lowell, Mass. God bless him

up to support Catholic Schools. Please
