SHINING STARS IN THE COMMUNITY Editorial
Last week I attended an Open House at the Marine Industries
Association of South Florida where I was greeted by NSU
graduate Sean Smith. Sean, along with the team at MIASF, or-
ganized the event. Personally, I was beaming with pride when I
heard so many of the attendees praise the work Sean is doing.
The MIASF is the largest trade organization in the Southeast
United States. Sean is one of many examples of our students
successfully utilizing the skills learned at NSU in their jobs. I
have been sending out the newsletter for more than 5 years and
many of you have taken advantage of the opportunities present-
ed. Thank you to our business partners and to our students for
being shining stars in many communities!
