In order to add or subtract fractions, we must find COMMON DENOMINATORS.

To find these, both denominators must be FACTORS of the new common denominator.

Multiply the NUMERATORS.Multiply the DENOMINATORS.SIMPLIFY the answer or change it to a MIXED NUMBER if necessary.
