Nervous system• Includes brain & spinal cord and is responsible for controlling and coordinating functions throughout the body.

Endocrine system

• Uses chemical messengers to control body functions such as growth.

Excretory system•Removes wastes from the body.

Digestive system• Responsible for converting food into a simpler molecule that can be used by the body.

Immune system• Helps to protect the body from disease.

Respiratory system • Provides the body with the oxygen it needs for cellular respiration.

Skeletal system• Supports the body, protects the internal organs, and enables the body to move.

Integumentary systemActs as a barrier against infection, helps regulate body temperature and covers the skeletal and muscular systems.

Muscular System•Works with the skeletal system to move the body.

Circulatory System• Is responsible for bringing oxygen, nutrients, and hormones to cells, removing wastes, and regulating body temperatures.

Lymphatic System•Returns lymph to the circulatory system.
