WHAT IS AN ORGANIZATION?An organization is a group of people who work together to achieve individual and organizational goals.

1.Organizational behaviour is the systematic study and application of knowledge about how people as individuals or as group members act within the organization. It strives to identify ways in which people can behave effectively.

relationships within small groups both formal and informal.

DESCRIBE systematically how people behave under a variety of circumstances.

UNDERSTAND why people behave as they do???

PREDICTING future employee behaviour.

CONTROL at least partially and develop some human activity at work.

Personality affects workplace behaviour. Persons need to be placed in jobs which match their SKILLS,ABILITIES,TEMPERAMENT or PERSONALITY.

Personality is that dynamic organization within the individual of those psychophysical systems that determine his unique adjustments to the environment. Besides personality study is very helpful in ensuring effective job performance.
