A Gratitude Examen Gratitude is one of the greatest spiritual practices. It opens
our minds, calms our hearts, and rids bitterness of it’s power.
The “examen” is a spiritual practice to reflect on how we have
responded to God’s work in our lives. This Thanksgiving, con-
sider your own reasons for thankfulness!
What Gifts have You given me?
How have I Received love from others?
How is grace at work in Aspects of my life story?
Do I Trust You to continue to bless me?
Where have I missed Your movements?
Have I used my Talents at the service of other?
Do I see a purpose for my life Underway?
How can I have the Discipline to thank You daily?
Help me give Everything back to You!

2019 CATHOLIC SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP APPEAL—
Thanks to your support the 2018 Scholarship Appeal
raised over $40,000. Funds raised go directly to
Catholic Schools for tuition assistance for qualifying
students. In our 26 Catholic schools throughout the
state, there are 765 students who qualify for finan-
cial assistance for this school year. Without your
help these students would not be able to gain all the
wonderful advantages a Catholic education gives. A
grateful mom writes, "My kids love their school, the
teachers, their friends, the priests, the church, and
the activities they do every day. With all the strug-
gles we have been through the past two years, for
my kids to be able to attend this wonderful school
has really made a difference in the way they are fac-
ing life at their young ages." Please support this
fund and give the gift that lasts a lifetime and be-
yond...a Catholic education. Donations may be
made through the Office of Catholic Schools or on-
line at www.dolr.org. Please see the flyer in the ves-
tibule.
