The Memoise session was organised on 29th March 2012,by IIBS S-11 batch for M-12 batch in the presence of Assistant Dean Seema Mishra, Prof. Preshni Khare and Renu Bhardawaj. The session was very knowledgeable & entertainingsession for everyone. S. Suraj showed a cultural video of IIBS to juniors. The session motivated and inspired student to make

clear vision of MBA and students life in IIBS.

Both the batches of S-11 and PTU M-12 students went for the industrial visit to Parle Biscuit Pvt. Ltd located in Neemrana, Rajasthan on 7th April, 2012.Students were exposed to the technology and techniques used in manufacturing biscuits.This visit provides students an opportunity to experience

UDGAM-2012 a management function which was brought to fruition on 28 Feb. Where students of S-11 batch participated in Debate, Extempore, Quiz based on corporate & Skit on social problem. Students enjoyed throughout the day new learning, the winner’s were awarded with prizes and winners are as follows:

Debate:Manish Tripathi & Asfahan Shaikh.Extempore:Akanksha Garg & Abhishek Singh. Skit:Group 1- Safety of Women and Group 2- Necessity of education.Quiz:Group 1-Promita, Ankit, Ananya, Himanshu & Lakshman.

Run for Noida initiative by ORF (One Republic foundation) was held on 15th April 2012. It was a social event, meant for the general public, aimed at encouraging harmony & brotherhood amongst the citizens of Noida, where over 1000 persons participated from college, schools and Noida Residents. IIBS Noida students participated as volunteer of the management team on this event, which gave them an excellent exposure on the planning, organizing & management of an event of this magnitude.

Whole World in One Place

Last year India witnessed Whole World in One Place in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi through International Trade Fair (IITF). IITF 2011 had participation of 7,000 exhibitors, include overseas participation from 28 countries, representing over 350 companies. A large number of domestic and foreign business persons visited the fair and attracted the trade delegation from 73 countries. Over one million general visitors also visited the fair during 14-27 November, 2011.The Product Profile of IITF 2012 include cosmetics, health care products, service sector, consultancy services, consumer electronics, home & kitchen appliances, leather goods, jute & coir, textiles, financial services and there are lots many things which appeal the eyes , meanwhile gave a big chance to learned, and got the knowledge from the business point of view.

28th Dec, 2011 was the day when S-11 batch got an opportunity to visit Heart of Delhi. As part of the tour students visited Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, India Gate, Rajghat and Iskon Temple. Students felt very much privileged to get this kind of opportunity to experience Delhi.

The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.

On 15th March 2012, students of IIBS NOIDA visited business expo at Expo Center, Sec. 62 Noida where business outsourcing was going on. Students got great opportunity to experience Business to Business direct marketing in this event, especially for marketing students. Number of companies waslaunching their product from different sectors like metals industry, electronics, chemicals etc. We got to know knowledge about various innovative products. And we even attended seminar where NSIC representative were teaching how one can registered his firm under NSIC.

“KSC” started by Prof. Seema Mishra which gives students for role play and facilitate unique knowledge with students. To improve leadership, confidence, and overall personality development .First group of the facilitators were Asfahan, Abhishek, Ruby, Manjeet and Manish.

Students of S-10 batch along with Prof. Sachin Rohatgi toured Thailand from 17th Feb to 22th 2012. They had a firsthand experience of foreign corporate practices, management culture and consumer behavior through seminar given by Rajamangala University of Technology. Some of the prominent reminiscing experiences are culture shows, elephant shows, visiting Buddhist temple, Pattaya beach beauty of Thailand and got a flavor of their traditional cuisine and culture. Students of IIBS also enjoyed water sports and climate of Bangkok market.
