PEBERNØDDER - DANISH CHRISTMAS BISCUITS

INGREDIENTS: 125 G BUTTER, SOFTENED125 G SUGAR1 EGG 1 TEASPOON BICARBONATE OF SODA ½ TEASPOON GROUND GINGER 3/4 TEASPOON GROUND CARDAMOM ½ TEASPOON GROUND CINNAMON JUST A TOUCH OF WHITE PEPPER 275 G PLAIN FLOUR

DIRECTIONS:1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 200 DEG.2. PREPARE BAKING SHEETS3. IN A BOWL YOU WHISK TOGETHER SUGAR AND BUTTER, ADD THE EGG AND WHISK AGAIN. 4. ADD SPICES AND BAKING SODA INTO THE FLOUR AND MIX IT ALL TOGETHER WITH SUGAR AND BUTTER MIXTURE. 5. ROLL OUT THE DOUGH IN LONG LINES AND CUT THEM IN SMALL PIECES AND ROLL THEM.6. BAKE THE SMALL ROUND BISCUITS IN THE OVEN FOR 10-12 MINUTES.
