Planet Ice
Proposal
September 2011
Planet Ice,
Since OneHockey began back in 2004 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, we have seen our program grow from 6 teams to 100 teams this year and provide the local area of the tournament with millions in revenue. We have hosted over 15 countries, thousands of youth hockey players, families, coaches and scouts from around the world.
OneHockey, is the worlds largest international youth hockey tournament hosting elite of all ages.
The kids who participate in OneHockey are leaders in their sport and leaders in their home communities.
As a former NHL professional, I know how important it is to continually learn new skills and establish experience playing for select teams. Through OneHockey, players are able to learn from others across the country or across the ocean. They are able to play for a select team and make international friendships. For those players who need financial help to participate we are proud to provide a scholarship fund, which in part recognizes your sponsorship support.
I encourage you to be a part of this mission and to provide us with the best possible support for this international outreach for youth.
I thank you for your willingness to support this international endeavor for the hockey youth of our world.
Sincerely,
Sebastian Fortier
President of OneHockey
About OneHockey
OneHockey was established in 1999 focusing on player training and development, with summer hockey camps for players from Midwest and Eastern United States. In 2003, after attending other summer “AAA” tournaments all over Canada and the U.S., OneHockey decided to introduce their own Summer “AAA” Tournament in Sherbrooke, Quebec.
With the success of our first tournament, OneHockey moved to a larger venue in Moncton, New Brunswick in 2005. 2006 brought another move of the tournament to its permanent home in Aston, Pennsylvania, just outside of Philadelphia. OneHockey’s success in attracting the best elite “AAA” hockey players from Europe and North America, and becoming the largest summer “AAA” tournament in North America enabled OneHockey to expand to Edmonton in the Spring of 2011. A girl’s event has been added to our full schedule and will compete in Aston June 21 to 24, 2012.
Our Players represent the best hockey talent in the world! They are leaders in their sport and often the turning point to a trend

Scouting at OneHockey
For our older players, the ability to showcase talents to the many visiting scouts is one of the many reasons players participate in the OneHockey Summer AAA Tournament. Dozens of our players have moved to NCAA, Junior and even pro. We now have a total of 9 players drafted in the NHL and expect to reach 50 by 2016.

OneHockey has a new show, which we call the SHEFF’S Kitchen. The show consist of our host THE SHEFF interviewing our players, coaches, parents, sponsors and visitors. This new feature was added during our 2011 Alberta tournament and will perfected in Philadelphia this summer. The SHEFF will be sponsored by a kitchen company and run the interviews in a real kitchen while cooking a snack for his guest.

Hi Sebastien
Chase and i would like to thank you for being supporting him throughout the whole tournament. This is Chase's comment: " The onehockey tournament was a great experience in bringing high level players from around the world to come and compete. I had a great time in philly despite my injury. I will hopefully be able to come back next year and actually play the whole tournament."
Best Regard,Judy from California
Thank you very much Sebastien. It was a very well run tournament with great competition. We were missing two key players from our team and will look forward to having them join us next year in the Super AAA division. Our parents and players all had a great time during the weekend and we are all proud of our boys for competing as hard as they could! I have to tip my hat to the Quebec team and the Alberta team- two great teams that provided stellar competition and we hope to see them again next year!Again - thank you for a terrific tournament... We can't wait to compete again in 2012!Warm regards,

Sebastien, you had stated that we were lucky to have Zach Burfoot as coach and he did not dissapoint. Between coaching the team, his own son, and managing the expectations of the parents, I don't think it could have been done better. My son Dennis did not want to leave ( the boys company on the team was the biggest part of that) and hopes to return next year. Dennis walked away a better player at the end of Sunday. Thank you so much

Truly a lifetime experience!Enjoy some down time in the coming days as I am sure you need it. I will touch base with you in the coming weeks with some further thoughts on our total OneHockey experience. With the announcement you sent out today on the new application process and the percent of kids invited back I was quite excited. All the best!

Sebastien, We just wanted to drop a quick note to you and or all of the staff of One Hockey to say what a fantastic experience we had this week. It was truly memoriable for Mason, he met a lot of new friends, played some great competition, and was excited to be part of such a great event. He really enjoyed everything, from the uniforms and gear he got, the recognition of the 3 stars of the game which he earned a couple times, his team made the semi-finals, but the whole environment. He is already talking about next year. So thanks and congratulations on a successful week.
Sincerly,
