Redemption

What are some things that

expire?

What if there was a magic way to make

expired things unexpired?

Today we’ll answer:

What are the origins of

redemption?

Genesis 1:28And God blessed them. And

God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth

and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the

heavens and over every living thing that moves on the

earth.”

Act out Genesis 3.

Redemption is all

about God.

v.6-7 Adam and the Woman saw that

the “tree was good for food”

v.7-8 They thought they could cover

their sin with loincloths.

Therefore, God alone

redeems.

Redemption is messy.

v. 8-13 God tries to get them to admit their sin

by asking them questions.

v.14-20 God uses pain and work to redeem

them from their mistake.

v.21 God kills an animal to cover their

sin.

Therefore, God chooses to save us in

messy ways.

Redemption is a gift.

v. 22-24 God could have left

Adam and Eve in the Garden,

forever in their sin.

Therefore, redemption is a free gift from

God.

Redemption is from God. It’s messy and it’s

free.
