Accident

Accident mainly occurs only due to the fault of the drivers or the person who drives the vehicle.

Accident may happen due to

*Over speed*Without wearing helmet*Without wearing seatbelt*While speaking in the phone*Not following traffic rules

Over speed*WHEN WE DRIVE IN OVER SPEED WE LOSE CONTROL EASILY.

*IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO SLOW DOWN,MAINLY IN RAINY AND SNOWY SEASON.

*IT CAN BE CONTROLLED BY DRIVING AT LOW SPEED

Without wearing helmet:

Without wearing helmet is the very big headache for the drivers because it may lead to accident

Without wearing seat belts

Wear seat belt while driving in the vehicles and that may cause death.

While speaking in phone

Please do not talk in the phone while driving in the vehicle.

PREVENTION OF ROAD ACCIDENT

1. Strict punishment should be enforced by govt. If a person drives in over speed

2. Two wheelers should not exceeded 50-70km/h.

3. All the rules should be followed properly by the people.

Road Safety tips

1. Video and Computer games that simulate racing should be discouraged by parents as it will develop racing habit in children.

2. Don’t allow children to watch Motor sports, especially racing.

3. Children below a certain age should not be permitted to do cycling in busy roads and in roads where heavy vehicles are plying.

4. Parents of children residing near busy roads should keep the Gates closed always.

5. Do not give cycles and two wheelers to children until they are mentally mature enough.

6. Ensure that children use Helmet while using Two Wheelers.

7. Back seat riders also should use Helmet.

8.Most important method to prevent road accidents is restriction of speed. restriction of speed 90 % of accidents can be avoided by limiting speeds.

9.Always maintain safe distance with the vehicle in front.

10.Avoid Mobile phone while walking, driving, riding on the road.

11.Avoid FM Radio, Media Players etc. while walking, driving, riding on the road.

12.Never drink and drive. Somebody is waiting for you at home.

13.Restrict speed at known accident prone areas.

14.Check up your vehicle regularly and especially before long journey.
