The man's name was not released yes- terday. Fire officials said he was flown by helicopter to Prince George's Hospital Center following the accident on Steed Road in Camp Springs. Three firefighters who were riding in the truck were treated and released at Southern Maryland Hospital, said Pete Pir- Inger, a Fire Department spokesman. The fire truck was on its way from the Allentown Fire CG.to the Pine View Manor Nursing Horne.in Clinton when the car, a Chevrolet, crossed the center line and crashed into the fire truck coming from .. the opposite direction, fire officials said. A man was in critical condition after helost control of his call and crashed into afire truck on its way to a call in Clintonabout 2 a.m. yesterday, fire officials said.
