Hinduism

• A religion, philosophy, and cultural practice native to India. It is characterized by a belief in reincarnation and a supreme being of many forms and natures.

Upanishads

• A group of philosophical essays / writings contributing to the theology of ancient Hinduism.

• It elaborates on the early Vedas.

Moksha

• In Hinduism and Jainism it is a release from the cycle of endless rebirth (reincarnation) and considered the highest form on existence.

• Think of it like heaven for Christians.

Karma

• In Hinduism and Buddhism karma is a person's actions (good or bad deeds) in their current, and previous, lives. Karma determines a persons fate in future lives.

Hindu Dieties• There are three main Hindu gods that all exist

as one. Shiva is worshiped as the destroyer, and the restorer, of worlds. Brahma is the creator and Vishnu is the sustainer of the world. Vishnu is considered the most powerful.
