Sabbath School, December 15, 2018, 9:00 A.M. Welcome and thank you to our guest(s) for choosing to worship with us
here at the Hayward Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are delighted that
you have chosen to honor our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ with us today
on His holy Sabbath. May this Sabbath service be a blessing to you and to
our Lord, and may your heart be filled with joy and gladness. The three
angels of Revelation 14 represent the people who accept the light of
God’s messages and go forth as His agents to sound the warning
throughout the length and breadth of the earth. Christ declares to His
followers: “Ye are the light of the world.” {Matthew 5:14, Counsels for the Church, 58.5}

“God’s Treasure Chest”
Wherever the truths of the gospel are proclaimed, those who
honestly desire to do right are led to a diligent searching of
the Scriptures. If, in the closing scenes of this earth's history,
those to whom testing truths are proclaimed would follow the
example of the Bereans, searching the Scriptures daily, and
comparing with God's word the messages brought them, there
would today be a large number loyal to the precepts of God's
law, where now there are comparatively few.

East Bay Creation Science Association Meets Every Third Sabbath

The East Bay Creation Science Association is newly formed, and will meet the third Sabbath of each month, in the evening. The purpose of the association is to bring to light evidences from science that support the Biblical accounts of a recent six-day creation of the earth, and of the world-wide flood.
All are welcome to attend!
For Member Artreassa Anderson and Family
Please keep Artreassa Anderson and her family in your prayers. Her father passed away in the Philippines Dec. 11. Please pray that our sister Artreassa and her daughter Samantha (who attends Bayside) are protected by heavenly angels as they travel back to the Philippines to attend Artreassa’s father’s funeral service. Condolences and sympathy cards can be sent to: Artreassa Anderson and Family 22635 Madrone Street, Hayward, CA 94541 treas2147@gmail.com
May the Lord’s peace and safety rest upon this family.
For Member Theresa Young
Please keep our Mama Theresa in prayer, she had eye surgery this last Thursday, December 13th, morning. Pray for a quick and complete recovery. Also please ask that the Lord will bestow His peace to Mama Theresa throughout her recovery.
May the Lord bestow upon them His peace and comfort.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27
Thank you so much Hayward prayer warriors!
Dear Church Members, On behalf of the Dela Paz and Dela Cruz family, we would like to thank the church family for providing us the Sanctuary in times of our need, and also for ushering us last Sunday for the funeral service of our beloved family member Warren Dela Cruz. We would like to specially thank the people that organized the beautiful program - from Pastor to the Elders, the Filipino group and each member that brought food and cleaned up after the repass, - from the bottom of our heart, thank you so much. Please continue to pray for our family especially Emelinda Dela Paz (mother of Warren), that the Lord will continue to guide and comfort her during this time of mourning.
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the
mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and
foam and the mountains quake with their surging.”
Psalms 46:1-3

Joseph and Mary Traveling to Bethlehem “Angels behold the weary travelers, Joseph and Mary, making their
way to the city of David to be taxed, according to the decree of Caesar
Augustus. Here, in the providence of God, Joseph and Mary had been
brought, for this was the place prophecy had predicted that Christ
should be born. They seek a place of rest at the inn, but are turned away
because there is no room. The wealthy and honorable have been
welcomed, and find refreshment and room, while these weary travelers
are compelled to seek refuge in a coarse building which shelters the
dumb beasts.” The Spirit of Prophecy, vol. 2, Page 17
