The tracking of community service hours is done through the school.

Jefferson Awards has sponsored many school events ie, • Tutus for Tatas, MAD yard sale, lids to save lives, concessions
for the cure, school dance, hearts for Haiti, Yoga for the Cure, Race for the Cure, Relay for Life, Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS, Nu Delta Alpha
EXPANDS FINANCIAL CAPACITY FOR VOLUNTEERS
SIA has sponsored one year-long fundraiser and campaign for breast cancer called, ‘Tutus for Tatas’.
Our Jefferson Awards team assisted MAD (Making a Difference) in their
yard sale fundraiser for Invisible Children.
TELL STORIES IN THE COMMUNITY
When winners are announced, their accomplishments and community contributions are publicized
throughout the school.
Savannah Arts has had many press releases this year, and we plan on Finishing off our school year with one final press
release, describing our winners and accomplishments in the 2009-2010 school year.
GROWTH AND EXPANSION OF SIA
Through the fall leadership conference, we made new connections and exchanged ideas about SIA expansion with other schools in our area.
