Criteria for PFP (a) Top 10% of the Sec 4N(A) national cohort
(b) 12 points or less for EMB3 aggregate (before deduction of CCA bonus points)
(c) At least N(A)-level grade 3 for all subjects used in the computation of ELMAB3 (certain courses require an EL grade of 2)
(d) Eligible students will be given the option to apply after the release of the GCE ‘O’ Level results in January the year they graduate from Sec 4N(A) (students applying for PFP must first progress to Sec 5NA)

Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP)
• DPP allows 4N(A) students to be admitted directly to a2-year Higher Nitec programme without having to sit forthe O Level examinations or undergo a Nitec programme.
• Students who successfully compete the course andattain the required minimum qualifying Higher NitecGrade Point Average (GPA) are guaranteed a place in oneof the polytechnic diploma courses that are mapped totheir Higher Nitec course.
