Greetings From the Rohnert ParkSenior Center!

Some of you may be familair with receiving a hard copy of the SCAN (SeniorCenter Activity Newsletter) on a monthly basis as a perk of your senior centermembership. As our "normal" has changed, so has our distribution of ournewsletter! This newsletter has been e-mailed out to all of our members as wellas posted on our city's website at rpcity.org. In this issue you will find resources,activities, and wellness tips. With the current shelter in place order, the Senior Center is remaining closeduntil further notice. Although our building is closed, the center remainscommitted to keeping seniors a priority. If you or a senior you know is interestedin receiving wellness calls, please e-mail me, or leave a message on the SeniorCenter voicemail. Hello! We certainly miss seeing your faces in our Center. The familiar sounds ofconversation in the coffee bar area, the music coming from the fitness classes inthe activity room, and the buzz in the dining hall during our lunch program aresome things we particularly miss.  As a City we are committed to providing services to you, our Senior Centermembers, in the safest way possible and assure you that we will continue to doso. We don’t have an anticipated date for reopening yet, but we are still here foryou and welcome communication. We hope you are staying socially connected toyour friends and family, and are finding ways to stay physically active. Council on Aging Food DistribtionIn lieu of congregate meals, Council on Aging is providing weekly meal
