  21 Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.

 

22 Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.

23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,

24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for 

you serve the Lord Christ.

 25 But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no 

partiality.

Ephesians 6:1-41 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with promise: 3 "that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”

4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in

the training and admonition of the Lord.

flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; 6 not with

bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, 7 with good will

doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, 8 knowing that whatever good

anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or

free.

9 And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that

your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.  

23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,

Romans 12:9-199 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor

what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with

much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written,

"Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. 

Deuteronomy 13:4"You shall walk after the LORD your God

and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him"

John 12:26"If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father

will honor"

Ephesians 6:7-97 with good will doing service, as to the

Lord, and not to men, 8 knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will

receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free. 9 And you, masters,

do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own

Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

Hebrews 11:6"But without faith it is impossible to

please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek

Him"

Ephesians 1:11-1411 In Him also we have obtained an

inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all

things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ

should be to the praise of His glory. 13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the

14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the

purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

1 Peter 1:3-53 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His

abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of

Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an

inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in

heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation

ready to be revealed in the last time.

Warning

Ephesians 5:5-75 For this you know, that no fornicator,

unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the

kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for

because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7

Therefore do not be partakers with them.

25 But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.

Deuteronomy 10:17-18For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor

takes a bribe.

3 Dear brothers and sisters,* we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one

God’s other churches about your endurance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and hardships you are

suffering. 5 And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for

which you are suffering. 6 In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.7 And God will provide rest for you who

are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He

will come with his mighty angels, 8 in

flaming fire, bringing judgment on those who don’t know God and on those who

refuse to obey the Good News of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with

eternal destruction, forever separated from the Lord and from his glorious

power. 10 When he comes on that day, he will receive glory from his holy people—

praise from all who believe. And this includes you, for you believed what we

told you about him.
