foreclosure prevention project focusing on pro bono assistance

Bono Net New York• Legal Aid Society, Legal Services New York City

and the City Bar agree to create and manage content jointly

Leveraging existing platforms and networks to address emerging needs

• Even without significant staffing, the legal services community in NYC has collaborated to create a valuable clearinghouse of timely information

• Collaboration built on partners’ involvement and familiarity with other NY practice areas on the probono.net platform

• Tech ramp-up could happen quickly – allowed partners to focus on content and collaboration

• Strategic and technical coordination by PBN staff provided key capacity when partner organizations were flooded with day-to-day response
