Search by Practice Area Rather than Jurisdiction

Besides Keyword Searching, How Can I Search? Use Get a Document.

Searching by Keyword I want to find an opinion published by the United States

Circuit Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. It involves a public school, a student, social media, the school’s punishment of the student’s off campus speech, and the student’s free speech rights that the school allegedly violated.

What do I do? Decide which database/library/jurisdiction to use. It

is given here. 4th Circuit. Formulate the issue. Whether a public school can

regulate a student’s off campus digital speech without violating the First Amendment?

Develop search terms and a search query: “public school” & regulate & student & “off campus” & speech & “First Amendment.”

Can I Update? Yes with Shepard’s

Limit by Jurisdiction: Reduces Results
