WHAT IS SPORT FOR ALL?

THE ROOTS OF SPORT FOR ALL

In 1990, Romania joined the International Charter of Physical Education and Sport and took over the name “Sport For All”.

in 1992, by the order of the Minister no. 90/20.01, the Romanian Federation Sports For All is founded. The Federation optimizes the activity, elaborates and launches programs which create the frame conditions that guarantee the right to move.

In 2000, after The Law of Physical Education and Sports majority sports structures at different levels are reorganized and become private non-governmental organizations.

Some of them are publicly recognized such as: the Romanian Federation Sports For All

Sport for All is social activity of national interest in a safe and clean environment:

o based on the choice of every person to practice physical activities;

o depending on personal needs, capabilities and preferences;

o in an organized or independent frame

The final result must be the social and individual health and well being
