What is IXP? The concept of Integrated Experiences can allow us to provide more experiences to the same members and let them live the
soul of AIESEC: Leadership Opportunities and International Internship as stated in the AIESEC Way.
Why is it important?

• Self awareness & awareness of others • Patience and flexibility • Crisis management skills • Increased self-confidence, initiative, and independence • Interpersonal communication skills, sometimes despite language barriers

Cole’s Story
INDIVIDUALS LIVING INTEGRATED EXPERIENCES
Are the leaders your LC needs!
LC Development
• Provide a more complete Experience to our customers: us! • By providing both team and exchange opportunities we
follow our AIESEC way and we can allow more people to take part to more programs of the ELD phase.
• Fastest way to grow our OGX – low hanging fruit • We need members to experience the product in order to sell
the product – it brings us credibility
• Exchange / TLP/TMP develops our leadership pipeline and organizational knowledge – it’s one of the best ways to invest in the long term development of your LC
Our context
Last summer, we only sent 7.8% of our members abroad…..which is about 125 people.
Imagine how much we would grow if we could just send our own members abroad!
SO, HOW DO WE DO IT?
1. TMP/TLP GOING ON EXCHANGE
Internal Promotion
• Direct contribution to specific countries working on specific issues (doing exchange and a CEEDership)
• Develop new competencies
• International project management
• Be more prepared for the next step in AIESEC
• You can also have the TMPs/TLPs be responsible for the EPs in the respective city and country
Where do you promote?
• Internal Communication (newsletter, LC, Facebook page etc)
• LC campaign/R&R for members to go on exchange in the winter.
• Subsidize Eps & top performers. An invest in your members is an investment in the future of the LC.
Who sells? • TM is the one selling, OGX is following up & delivering
• Utilize mentorship and coaching to encourage
• Utilize the Board of Advisors to sponsor experiences
• You can also package the integrated experiences to students BEFORE they join AIESEC or from the moment they join as a new member.
When?
Summer Peak: • Now is the time to raise your members! • Exchange can be a freshman’s first relevant work experience • Incorporate this into your LCs Rewards & Recognition so members can earn financial support from the LC • Send your members to country partners & LC-LC partners!
Supporting your members
• Investing in their exchange – working with Finance
• Rewards & Recognition
• Exchange preparation – OPS & LEAD
2. MICRO EXPERIENCES
MICRO EXPERIENCES • Involve your current EPs in projects like event
management (OCs)
Why?
• This is a good way to engage them further with AIESEC before they leave for exchange
• They become more familiar with the organization and how it operates
• Increases your talent capacity
3. REINTEGRATION
Reintegration (RIS)
• Ensure the EPs are closing their exchange experience
• Create a space to share and deal with reverse culture shock
• Help EPs internalize what they have learned from their exchange
• Sell TMP!
Recruiting your EPs!
• Recruiting your EPs ensures that you have more experienced talent capacity!
• They understand the product from the customer perspective!
Time to plan! Challenge:
Imagine if you had the challenge of sending every
single person in your LC abroad.
