Second Week of Lent
Hungering for a Bountiful Earth This week CRS Rice Bowl takes us to the coffee highlands of Nicaragua, where we’re called to protect both the goodness of
creation and the livelihoods of struggling families. How will this week’s fast remind us of the sacredness of
God’s creation and our duty to protect it?

St. Juan Diego sponsors a Soccer Team….
Now that we are truly growing and our parish includes parishioners from such wonderfully diverse backgrounds in our community Fr. Terry and the Knights of Columbus have decided to establish a fun ministry for all to enjoy. We are pleased to announce that we will be forming a soccer team for both men and women to play in adult either men’s or co-ed leagues this coming Summer and Fall. Depending on the interest level we will form a team or teams that reflects our overall interest level. After Mass today, please stop by our table in the Narthex and complete or take with you a notification form to let us know that you are interested in joining in with us. Once we know of the general interest, those that have completed a form or sent us an email to stjdsoccer@gmail.com with your information we will have a general gathering to go over the results. From that gathering we will select the team coaches, equipment manager and administrators before the end of March. At this time we plan to field a team or teams for adults age 18 and older.
