Sabbath School Leaders, Teachers, and Secretaries, please mark your calendars: Sabbath School Council Meeting, Wednesday, January 31, at 5:30 pm. Please plan to arrive on time and enjoy a light supper. Plan to stay for prayer meeting! Dear Church Family, Our sincere appreciation for the love shown to us in so many ways by the church and school following the recent death of our mom, Mrs. Phyllis Morgan. When she visited Metro several years ago, she was treated as family with love that she fondly remembered. She rests now and awaits the soon coming of her Lord and will be reunited with her family and friends which will include each of you. What a wonderful day that will be! Thank you again for being there for us at this time. With Love, The Morgans Young Adults - BRIDGE: Let’s start the year off right. Gathering together and fellowship one with another. BRIDGE is back with another exciting vespers, kicking off our new theme “Standing on the Promises.” Please come out for a great night of worship, fun, and food. Doors open at 5 pm. Bring gym clothing for activities afterward. Hope to see you there! FEBRUARY 3, at OAKWOOD SDA CHURCH, 26300 Goddard Rd, Taylor, MI 48180.
Message of Hope…
“The message from God to me for you is ‘Him that cometh unto Me I will in no wise cast out.’ (John 6:37). If you have nothing else to plead before God but this one promise from your Lord and Savior, you have the assurance that you will NEVER< NEVER be turned away. It may seem to you that you are hanging upon a single promise, but appropriate that one promise, and it will open to you the whole treasure house of riches of the grace of Christ. Cling to that promise and you are safe. ‘Him that cometh unto me I will in no wise cast out.’ Present this assurance to Jesus, and you are as safe as though inside the city of God.” MS Release vol. 10 p 175 EGW
