and mix with lemon juice. Then apply thepaste on the infected skin surface. Let it dryfor 45 minutes and then wash out. Regularuse of this lemon-cinnamon pack does helpin getting rid of pimples.

== ToothpasteApply white toothpaste to the affected

area and let it dry. Wash it off with luke-warm water and pat your skin dry with aclean towel.

== Lime Juice and Almond OilMix two to three drops of fresh-

Diploma in Travel, TourismEconomics and HotelManagement (DTTEHM), con-ducted by the Department ofEconomics of Faculty of Arts.

Dr. Kumara Hirimburegama,Vice-Chancellor of theUniversity of Colombo, was theChief Guest.

DTTEHM, a multi-disciplinarydiploma level programme, isspecially designed to respondto the industry demand formulti-skilled travel and tourismprofessionals who are able totake responsibility for a widerange of complex industryprocesses by improving the the-oretical concepts, issues andpolicies. This diploma provides

opportunities for the integration ofknowledge and skills in the hands-onpractice of different fields of the indus-try by providing practical and analyticalcompetence in socio-economic, ecolog-ical, marketing, managerial, accountingand legal aspects of travel and tourismwith hotel management, ticketing,information technology and other relat-ed fields to meet the modern chal-lenges of the changing global trends intravel and tourism industry.

As a part of the graduation ceremo-ny, a new book, on the future prospectsof the travel and tourism, waslaunched.

At the graduation ceremony, a totalof 13 awards were given.

Amidst the celebrations of Christmas, and the dawn of the NewYear, the Mount Lavinia Hotel did not fail to ignite the true spiritof the season in sharing with the less fortunate and spreading

the joy to the most deserved.As they have continued to do, for more than 15 years, the

Management and staff of the Mount Lavinia hotel hosted over 50 chil-dren from the neighbouring fishing village, and MihinduPre-school, for a Christmas party.

The Mihindu Pre-school was founded by the hotel andat present houses 24 children, who are mostly from thefishing village, near the hotel. The children enjoyed amagic show and were treated to snacks and sweets.They were also presented with school bags and station-ary for the new school year.

oldest Lion ladies clubs, in Sri Lanka, with two

decades of humanitarian service to the community,

had their fund-raiser recently.

It took the form of a musical evening, called

"SURAMYA RATHRIYA," and was held at the Lion

Activity Center, Ethul Kotte.
