The 2012 Homecoming Weekend featured the 108th game between St. Johnsbury Academy and Lyndon Institute.

The Homecoming Court was announced in Pep Chapel.

The Royal Court pictured from left to right are: Heather Hilton ’13, Patrick Lovett ’13,

Queen Victoria Hutchins ’13, King Quinn Fogarty ’13, Sarafina Woolridge-Burns ’13, and Nate Bassett ’13.

NVRH was again the sponsor for the annual Homecoming Weekend dinner for the SJA football team.

Special guests for the dinner this year were the 1952 and 1982 SJA Vermont State Football Champions.

A special thank you goes to Chef David Hale, Chef Paula Bystrzycki ’80, Instructor Suzanne Libbey, and a

group of students from the Culinary 1 and Culinary 2 classes in the preparation and serving of the meal.

Despite the rain on Friday evening, the pep parade and bonfire were still well attended.

After the parade, a large crowd of alumni and friends gathered at the Elks to catch-up at the All-Class Social.

Prior to the Saturday game, the Straszko Center at Graham’s House opened its doors for

hors d'oeuvres and hot apple cider.

The weather turned in our favor and provided sunshine for the 1:00 p.m. kick-off at Fairbank’s Field.

Their final SJA Homecoming Weekend… …the Seniors and their parents were recognized before the game started.
