Combining Design and Advertising, Diseno Advertising is formed by a team of passionate people who believes that design is the key to effective visual communication to consumers.

The design concept behind every print advertisement, brochures, flyers, posters, banners, logos, websites are conceptualised from scratch with lots of ideas generation, brain storming, extensive client consultation, market research, and ongoing market trends.

JOANNA ONGPR and Events Director

Joanna has been in public relations and public affairs for more than 15 years with experience in corporate and brand marketing communications across all industries. Joanna brings with her a wide spectrum of experience in the development and management of communications programmes, spanning corporate and brand positioning, issues and crisis management, media relations, media training and event management.

In the last few years, she has been leading international and Singapore client accounts including Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, leisure real estate leader Group RCI, Hainan Airlines, Science Centre Singapore, A* Star, fashion brand manager Imaginasia for their brands Petit Bateau, Early Learning Centre and Du Pareil Au Meme, leading fitness and gym consulting Elite Fit, Singapore Island Country Club and Standard Chartered Bank.

Previously from international public relations consultancies Burson-Marsteller, Weber Shandwick and Ogilvy Public Relations, Joanna was the client leader on several key international accounts and has provided counsel and managed communications programmes for clients such as Philips, Lucent Technologies, TNT International Mail, Visa International, RHB Group, University of Chicago (Asian campus), The Citibank Private Bank, Chartered Semiconductor, Acer, 3Com, University of Cardiff, Urban Redevelopment Agency and Singapore Prisons Department. She was also instrumental in garnering significant media coverage for seven successful IPO launches including Maxis Mobile Communications in Singapore and in Malaysia.

Joanna has also worked in in-house communications capacities with multinational companies and market

leaders. Joanna led the communications for the consumer banking business at Standard Chartered Bank, Singapore. Prior to September 2005, she was the Asia Pacific head of communications for the InterContinental Hotels Group, managing corporate communications but also brand marketing communications for the Group’s hotel brands – InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Express by Holiday Inn. She was also previously with Far East Organization, managing communications for the group’s residential, hotel, commercial and industrial properties including the launch of Techno Park, one of the first techno incubation centres in Singapore.

Joanna graduated from Murdoch University, Australia with a Bachelor of Arts, double major in Communications Studies, and English and Comparative Literature.

JENN WEEPR and Events Executive

Joanna has been in public relations and public affairs for more than 15 years with experience in corporate Jenn has more than 10 years of marketing communications with agency background, specializes in media relations, marketing collaterals, brand communication as well as event management. She has accrued experience in copywriting for press materials and b2c publications and has worked with external as well as internal creative agencies to roll out effective advertising & promotional campaigns.

Jenn’s key strengths is in media relations & activities and has successfully garnered press coverage for a portfolio of clientele including

fashion & toy brands Petit Bateau, Du Pareil Au Même and Early Learning Centre for ImaginAsia Group, LinC Aesthetic Clinic, Elite Fit, Rain-Hail Restaurant/Lounge in Phuket, Science Centre Singapore, A* Star, Netbizz Office Supplies, Zurich Financial Services, Group RCI, Pan Pacific and Parkroyal brands under Pan Pacific Hotels Group (formerly known as Hotel Plaza Limited). She has also played an integral role in media launches such as the launch of Pan Pacific Serviced Suites in Singapore in March 2008.

Jenn has worked in in-house communications functions in various industries including cable television and radio stations, dot.com and was

part of the marketing team handling two of Singapore Island Country Club’s Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs) from April to June 2008. She began her career in the media divisions of advertising agencies such as Tropical Alliance Communications and J Walter Thompson. She had previously held a senior position in the Marketing Department of Popular Book Company, the largest retail bookstore in Singapore, where she was also editor of its membership magazine POP Club.

Jenn holds a BSC in Economics (Management Studies) from the University of London/Singapore Institute of Management.
