THE PROMENADE
Portstewart is famous for its long crescent shaped seafront promenade. From the little harbour at the northern end to the imposing O’Hara Castle that dominates the western point, tourists and local people alike come from miles around to walk the promenade on a Sunday evening. But Portstewart is a pleasure any night of the week and the Crescent provides the ideal spot from which to watch the sun set red over the sea or join in this most relaxing pastime.
