The Public Schools of The Tarrytowns
2017-2018 School Year
Special thanks to Andrea Harrison and Tracy Jarrell for their contributions!
Superintendent’s Letter 2017
Dear Parent/Guardian,
As the Superintendent of the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns, it is my plea-sure to welcome you to another action packed school year. As a District, we remain wholly committed to providing the highest quality educational experi-ence to every student we serve.
A critical ingredient to every student’s success is timely and effective commu-nication between home and school. This informative calendar represents one way in which we will provide families with important information regarding our schools. We hope that you will display it prominently in your homes and use it as a reference throughout the year.
In addition to this calendar, we will provide families with information through a variety of other methods. Your child’s building principal and individual teachers are accessible, and will regularly share information, through email and newsletters. Our middle and high school families will also be able to access important information through the parent portal. Please bookmark and check our website (www.tufsd.org) regularly and follow us on Facebook (www.face-book.com/tarrytownschools) and Twitter (@ufsdtarrytowns) for information about the exciting work occurring in our schools.
We look forward to a very successful and enjoyable school year and invite you to contact us whenever you have a question, concern, or suggestion.
Sincerely,
Christopher BorsariSuperintendent of Schools
Carta del Superintendente 2017
Estimado Padre/Madre /Tutor,
Sinceramente,
Christopher BorsariSuperintendente de las Escuelas
