This house was built in the 1980s as a bungalow. In 2017 it was converted to a 2 storey house and renovated to bring it up to an A3 rating. The homeowners sought a warm, cosy environment for their home and efficiency was paramount. The iTec inverter technology means the unit never uses more energy than is needed as the pump constantly meets the property's heat demand. Weather compensation was another winner for the homeowner, ensuring highly efficient, intelligent control and an even, consistent temperature with constant hot water on tap.

Ashgrove's team of experts specified, designed and sized the heat pump using Thermia Heat Pump Calculator software.

The unit was installed by James Lynch, one of Ashgrove's preferred installers throughout Ireland.

The house was upgraded to new house regulations and the iTec unit looked the part with its modern, aesthetic finish. Situated on the Donegal coastline,in the North West of Ireland. The clients were reassured against coastal corrosion by the Thermia hydrophobic coating. The iTec is one of a kind for resisting salt water corrosion, thereby increasing the lifespan of all Thermia heat pumps.
