The measured result of a normal Lux-meter is „photopic lumen“, which is not really corresponding the sensitivity of humen eyes. More scientifically, „scotopic lumen“- pupil lumen (Plm) should be measured for comparasion.

HPS Lamp is 90Plm/W, induction lamp is 140Plm/W

Normal lamp is point-light or line-light source, efficiency is more reliable from a reflector. Induction lamp is surface-lighting source, which has much bigger luminous surface and better uniformity.
