A total of 152,850 NFI, Food and services were distributed within the Humanitarian Aid Program in 2020 across all locations.
A total of 67,096 clothing items were distributed in Greece by DiH in, 20,055 diapers and wipes, and 18,488 Food packs delivered.

A DiH operated four Programs in Nea Kavala, CEM, Non-Formal Education , Integration Support and Humanitarian Aid during 2020. CEM, NFE and Integration Support benefited 16,141 visitors in 2020. The majority of visitors were involved in the CEMs projects focusing on Psychosocial support.

Visitors
A total of 13,892 visitors were involved in the CEM Projects in Nea Kavala in 2020 in 19 different projects.
The Drop Center was renovated and opened early 2020 seeing many projectsimplemented in collaboration with the residents of the camp. All projects had to stop in March due to the pandemic and only a few were allowed to reopen mid-summer with many restrictions.

In 2020, A DiH started Greek classes and computer classes for the first time in order to assist the Education actors in camp and due to the constant increase of the population.
By the end of 2020, A DiH also started English classes as a result of integrating “We are here” projects within it.

2020 saw also the start of a new Program in Nea Kavala, the Integration Support through the Info Hub project. The aim is to:• Assist beneficiaries in administrative processes• Support PoCs in the asylum process• Promote employability and integration in the Greek
society• Support PoCs in providing and accessing vocational
training• Create and facilitate employability workshops to help
beneficiaries find a job.

The CEM Program in Skaramagas benefited 14,210 visitors, of whom a majority were children. The Child Friendly Space (CFS) benefited 5,653 young visitors in 2020.
A new projects was added in the beginning of 2020, the Youth Club, engaging teenagers ineducational and psychosocial support activities.

More than 350 students were engaged in the English class in 2020 in Skaramagas.
An average of 4 teachers were constitently present in camp to provide classes of 4 different levels to adapt to each resident’s level.

29,737 items were distributed by A DiH field workers in 2020 in Skaramagas and Elefsina. A majority of which were Clothing items, distributed during the seasonal distributions to all residents. Learning material was also distributed during the first wave of the pandemic to continue engaging the population in Educational activities.

The CEM Program on Lesvos benefited 23,935 visitors. Due to the pandemic, most CEM related projects stopped during the summer and only after the Moria fire in early September, A DiHwas able to start MBA, CFS and UMA with IOM, in and outside of the new site of Kara Tepe.

Lesvos’ file workers have provided 6,408 NFI, Food items and services to the population of Moria refugee camp and later on the new site of Kara Tepe, within the Humanitarian Aid Program, and facilitated the provision of thousands of hygiene items, medical supplies and NFIs to other distribution focused organizations on Lesvos.
In October 2020, after the Moria fires, A DiH started the laundry service to support the population of the new site of Kara Tepe and limit the spread of scabies on site.

Samos Operation has focused on two programs through out 2020, CEM and Humanitarian Aid. In the beginning of that year, A DiH fieldworkers assisted 1,958 visitors in CEM projects in the Baobab center near the camp of Vathy. Due to the pandemic, the center had to close and A DiH reopened its operation on Samos in October 2020 to solely focus on distribution of NFIs and Food items to the whole population of Vathy refugee camp, also supporting authorities in emergency distributions.

Samos DiH fieldworkers distributed 56,199 NFI, Food items and services to the population of Samos Refugee camp. A Majority of those items were clothing items distributed during the seasonal winter clothing distribution. A DiH fieldworkers also distributed tarp, tents, sleeping bags and blankets during emergency distributions to the population affected by the fires inside the camp in November 2020.
