A crowdsourcing projects to show how Platanyus hybrida trees can help to reduce urban heat island on summer if just let to grow correctly in front of the south exposed façades of the urban mesh

The few trees that have been unpruned can cover entire façades

So, a crowdsourging project just taking georeference temperatures could do the work!

CROMA is an NGO created as a geocrowdsourcing platform

Its first project devoted to road ecology and ecological connectivity

The most interesting fact is its geodatabase which is compliant with INSPIRE Directive

We have developed a very easy interface that can be customized for new projects
