Seed & Germination Process
A seed is a mature ovule in a dormant state, of a plant where the metabolic, syntheticand morphogenetic activities are suspended.
Germination is the process by which the embryo wakes from its dormant state, emerges and develops from the seed embryo of those essential structures whichindicate its ability to produce a normal plant under favorable condition involving achain of reaction like biosynthesis of organic substances, enzymatic & hormonalactivation, energy conservation & utilization, metabolism etc by overcoming the abioticfactors.
FATE of Seedling
A seed may germinate but may not be able to emergevigorously to carry out deeper geotropic and earlyphototropic movement. Obviously the late emergingseedlings are poor in vigour, subsequent growth andproductivity both in quality & quantity as compared tovigorous and early emerging ones.
Germination Phases
The basic requirement in the pathway of seeds germination from colloidal to metabolicphase which results in the growth of the embryo into a vigorous seedling capable ofestablishing itself in the given environment and of developing further into a normalplant.
1. Active hydration process involving energy.2. Enzymatic activation for hydrolyzing storage material and synthesize new
substances for growth & development.3. The reactions are programmed by RNA and are controlled by various enzymes
which may respond to environmental conditions.4. Biosynthesis of hydrolytic enzymes- phytase, protease, phosphates, amino acids,
fatty acids and also hormonal synthesis.5. Amino acids & vitamins give substratum for biosynthesis of endogenous growth
promoter for triggering the purpose.
Vigore
Contains Neurospora Crassa – a Combination of :
Tryptophan Tyrosine Phenylalanine Para amino benzoic acid L-Lysine L-Arginine L-Methionine Folic Acid & many other Vitamins/essential aminoacids
A naturally derived nutritional supplement, designed to enhance seedling vigor andreduce impact of abiotic and biotic stress on the seedling, leading to increased cropyield.

Role of Vigore – Seed Treatment
Vigore is the combination of organic substances helping in biosynthesis & transformation to fulfill the requisite of seeds in situ.
Vigore increases crop yield by: Providing essential nutrients for development of strong shoots and roots Increases Root Length Enhancing seedling vigor Increases Coleoptiles length Stimulating root hair growth Reducing effects of abiotic stress Reducing effects of biotic stress Overcoming negative effects of pesticides applied to seeds
Effective results
Control Treated
Vigoure increases seedling vigour
Vigoure improves Root HairDevelopment – Produces more roothair for better water and nutrientuptake
Effective results
Vigore improves Root DepthVigore Seed Treatment increasesroot Length for better nutrientuptake from deeper strata of thesoil
Effective results
According to Bray1 et al., crops produce only 24% of their yield potential
1 Mean of 6 crops: barley, maize, potatoes, soybeans, sugar beets, wheat
Vigore reduces impact of abiotic stress
BENEFITS – As reported by farmers
Quicker & more uniform emergence of seedling More seedling vigour Larger root system Increased number of tillers and tubers Improved stress resistance Increase yields Low cost per acre Ease to apply
