WATER FILTRATION M E D I A Kinetico Inc. www.kinetico.com Kinetico's Macrolite is a highly effective water filtration media that removes suspended solids as small as 3 microns. The rounded shape pro- vides a relatively uniform matrix of interstit ial passages be tween the synthetic ceramic media granules, which are key to the media's outstand- ing flow-versus-removal relationship. The rough, textured surface physically captures small and midsized particles as the water passes through the media bed. Macrolite is available in a variety of sizes and can be customized to meet special application requirements. Potential applications include removal of suspended solids and turbidi- ty from surface or groundwater , RO pre t rea t - ment, process filtration, and effluent polishing.
