14 Things All New Students Should Know About Trible Library

Don’t be that person who brags about not setting foot in the library for four years.

1) We’ve got tons of resources!

300,000 books (and eBooks), 55,000 journals, magazines, and newspapers, and 280 databases.

2) Use library.cnu.edu to search!

3) Be sure to ask for help!

Why go it alone? We’re here to help you with research.

4) Did we mention asking for help?

Friends don’t let friends get smushed by bookshelves. (And neither do librarians)

5) Your Captains Card is your library card

Check out ALL THE BOOKS (and DVDs)!

6) We have spaces for quiet study…

Because even if your roommate is the coolest, you’ll want to escape your Res Hall at some point.

7)…and group study!

Because those pesky group projects aren’t going away anytime soon.

8) We have computers for you to use

Print, do research, write papers…or check Facebook.

9) You should visit the Media Center!

Get your technology on! Check out devices and get help with projects.

10) You can touch really old books!

The Mariners’ Museum Library has a huge collection of rare books and manuscripts related to maritime history.

11) All the world’s info is at your fingertips!

Use Interlibrary Loan and VTC to get books and articles from other libraries.

12) #triblib

The cool kids follow us on Facebook and Twitter @CNUTribleLib.

13) We’re open 24/5!

Because procrastination is real (and that paper isn’t going to write itself).

Freaking Out! Sadsies A+ Happy!

Quiz Time! Would you rather be:

Did you choose A+ happy?

We hope so!

Know something that could make you freak out?

Sanctions for academic dishonesty on one of your assignments! (Cue scary music)

But you’ve heard about the honor code

Academic honesty is super important!

This window represents the light of academic integrity shining upon new scholars

14) At Trible Library we have so many resources to help you succeed!
