An increase in manufacturers outside the traditional irrigation market. Many but not all are EPA WaterSense labeled. SMART requires you to have some knowledge of sprinklers (precip rate), soil type, plant material, root depth, etc. Frequency adjustment has shown to be preferred as a better way to manager your landscape. Many controllers on the market don’t adjust that way.
