1991 - foundation of Interregional Institute of Management (primary name of OSIM).1998 – the Institute gained the exclusive right to participate in the realization of the Program for Training Managers and Executives for National Economy Enterprises of the Russian Federation (known abroad as the Presidential program)1999 - the institute was reorganised to Orenburg State Institute of Management by the order of the Russian Federation government.2002 - a branch of OSIM was opened in Orsk city.2003 - OSIM was awarded «The American Golden Certificate of Quality» for the high quality of services.2010 - OSIM became a member of SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) University (http://uni-sco.ru).
