Testing the Impact of the Dimensions of

Transformational Leadership on Administrative

Creativity:

A Practical Stufy of Educational Institutions in Syria

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between the transformational

leadership features and the availability of administrative creativity among workers in

Syrian educational institutions.To achieve this objective, the study adopted a survey

approach. 300 members of administrative staff, working in educational institutions in Syria,

were randomly selected. Through the use of Step Wise Regression method, the results of

the study revealed the existence of a positive relationship between the four features of

transformational leadership and administrative creativity. In light of the results of the study,

the researcher provides a number of recommendations, which would work on the

development of leadership skills in the immediate superiors, for the purpose of

strengthening the innovative capacity of their subordinates.
