We have finally made it to the last Sunday in this liturgical year. Next week we will be able to say to each other "Happy New Year" as we begin the great season of Ad‐vent and a new liturgical year. All around us we will be seeing sights and sounds of Christmas: Christmas songs, Christmas lights, Christmas trees, Christmas par es and Christmas TV specials, but it's not yet Christmas! You and I are encouraged to PREPARE during ADVENT for the coming of Jesus in: HISTORY, MYSTERY , and MAJESTY. Our culture has it ALL backwards!!!! Star ng the day a er Thanksgiving on Black Friday, it will seem to many, that Christmas has begun! Do your best see the period BEFORE December 25 as ADVENT, a me of PREPARATION. Then on Christmas Day the REAL CELEBRATION begins. This is the last weekend for our Hymnals. As men oned in last weeks bulle n, be‐cause we project all our songs on the screens, we have not renewed our subscrip‐
on for the Church, but we have for the Chapel. During Advent, you will no ce changes in our Liturgy: The color will be light purple and not green We will not have processional candles, but

Queridos Feligreses y Visitantes, El Señor este con vosotros, Finalmente hemos llegado al úl mo domingo de este año litúrgico. La próxima se‐mana podremos decirnos unos a otros, “Feliz Año Nuevo” al empezar la gran esta‐ción de Adviento y un nuevo año litúrgico. Alrededor nuestro veremos vistas y sonidos de Navidad: Villancicos, luces de Navi‐dad, árboles de Navidad, fiestas y anuncios en la televisión de Navidad, pero ¡todavía no es Navidad! Nosotros debemos mo varnos para PREPARARNOS duran‐te ADVIENTO para la venida de Jesús en: HISTORIA, MISTERIO Y MAJESTAD. ¡¡¡Nuestra cultura lo ene TODO al revés!!! Empezando el día después de Acción de Gracias con el “Black Friday” mucha gente cree que Navidad ha comenzado. Vea el periodo ANTES de diciembre 25, como ADVIENTO, un empo de PREPARACION. Después el Día de Navidad, la CELEBRACION REAL comienza. Este es el ul mo fin de semana usando nuestros himnales. Como mencione la se‐mana pasada en el bole n, ya que podemos proyectar las canciones en las panta‐llas, no renovamos nuestra suscripción para la Iglesia, solo para la Capilla. Durante Adviento, notara algunos cambios en la Liturgia: El color será un morado bajito y no verde No tendremos velas de procesión, solo 2 de
velas en el altar; representando la Divinidad y Humanidad de Jesús
No tendremos las campanas hasta Navidad El ambiente será sencillo al comienzo hasta
que lleguemos a Navidad ¿Este interesado en ser un Diacono Ordenado? Tuvimos una buena respuesta a nuestra primera reunión.
