tour begins in Fatima, Portugal’s

Day 3: Tuesday, October 27, 2020 Fatima - Aljustrel - Fatima You may
celebrate Mass* before traveling to
the original town of Fatima and the
parish church where the children
Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia were
baptized. Continue on to Aljustrel,
where the children lived, and view the
site of the fifth apparition in Valinhos.
Later, return to Fatima** to enjoy free

Day 4: Wednesday, October 28, 2020 Fatima - Burgos, Spain Attend a
morning Mass* before travelling east
to Burgos, known as the cradle of the
Castile region. Situated on the
Pilgrim’s Road, Burgos stands on the
banks of the Rio Arlanzon with the
slender, elegant spires of its famous
cathedral rising into the sky. Mass* is

Day 5: Thursday, October 29, 2020 Burgos Join a local expert on a
leisurely paced walking tour of
Burgos’ beautiful medieval town
center. Spend time at the Cathedral of
Burgos, a masterpiece of Spanish
Gothic architecture and a UNESCO
World Heritage site. The cathedral,
the third largest church in Spain,
offers such masterpieces as the filigree
work in the spires of the towers; the
starry dome; the choir; the sarcophagi
and the golden staircase. Next, visit
the 12th-century Monastery of Santa
María Real de las Huelgas. Founded
as a Royal Pantheon and a spiritual
retreat for society ladies and royalty,
the complex consists of the church,
monastery and the enclosed premises
of the Cistercian nuns. Mass* is

Day 6: Friday, October 30, 2020 Burgos - Lourdes, France Today,
travel northeast through the Pyrenees
Mountains to Lourdes. This is where
the Virgin Mary appeared in the
Grotto of Massabielle to the poor
shepherd girl, Bernadette, for a total
of 18 times between February 11 and
July 16, 1858. Since then, this little
market town has been a world-
renowned pilgrimage site. Tonight
you may wish to partake in a

Day 7: Saturday, October 31, 2020 Lourdes After morning Mass,* enjoy
a walking tour of Lourdes, visiting the
places associated with the life of St.
Bernadette: the “Boly Mill" (site of
the birthplace of St. Bernadette), the
"Cachot," and the parish church
housing the baptismal font of St.
Bernadette. Later, enjoy some time at
leisure to explore the town's rich
historical and natural heritage.

Burgos was founded in 884 and its historical heritage is immediately evident.
Admittedly, its main sites are ecclesiastical, most notably the cathedral itself, but
it is an atmospheric place and has a rare grandeur and medieval northern
Castilian ambience.
The Cathedral of Burgos, begun in 1221 and completed in 1567, is among the
most admired of its kind worldwide. Especially remarkable is its south portal, the
“Puerta del Sarmental,” considered the best example of Gothic sculpture of its
century. The Cathedral of Burgos is modeled after the French Cathedral of

This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven grounds and cobblestone streets.
Our air passengers will arrive into Lisbon, Portugal airport. All of our transfers will depart from Lisbon airport for Fatima. Travel time from Lisbon to Fatima is approximately 90 minutes.

A leisurely drive through picturesque villages brings you to majestic Montserrat Mountain, soaring 4,320 feet above
sea level. A local guide will lead you on a tour exploring the area's most important sights. While here, stroll the
grounds of the 8th-century monastery and see its famous Romanesque sculpture of the "Black Virgin," patron saint of
Catalonia. This is also the site of many pilgrimages and where Christopher Columbus brought missionaries to pay
