1. China State Construction Engineering Corporation Limited

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd (in short: China Construction; Stock code:

601668), formally established on December 10, 2007, was co-initiated by four Fortune Global 500

enterprises: China State Construction Engineering Corp. (CSCEC), China National Petroleum

Corporation (CNPC), Baosteel Group Corporation Ltd and Sinochem Corporation. China Construction

was successfully listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange on July 29, 2009.

　　China Construction has inherited all superior assets and corporate culture of CSCEC, with its

business covering housing construction, international contracting, real estate development and

investment, infrastructure construction and investment, prospecting and design.

2. China Coal Technology & Engineering Group Company

China Coal Technology and Engineering Group Corp. (here-in-after referred as CCTEG) is

directly managed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State

Council.

CCTEG is mainly dealing with drilling exploration and survey of coal field, Feasibility study and

Design of coal mines and coal washing plant, Consultant, R&D and manufacturing of mining and safety

equipment, Construction supervision, Project operation and Maintenance and Project Turn-key services

in the industrial fields of coal mine (open-pit coal mine and underground coal mine), coal washing plant,

coal chemical, clean coal technology and engineering service and so on. CCTEG is covering the whole

chain of all business in the coal industry and is the only comprehensive R&D, EPC and manufacturing

enterprise group in world coal industry. CCTEG is also one of the 32 A class state-owned enterprise in

China.

With the strongest strength, advanced technology and highest market share in China, CCTEG has

provided engineering service to more than 80% of the scaled underground coal mines and 98% of scaled

open-pit coal mines and coal washing plants in China.

In China, CCTEG has completed the largest open-pit coal mine with the annual capacity of 30Mt

and the largest underground coal mine with the annual capacity of 20Mt. As the science and technology

innovation centre of China Coal Industry, CCTEG has completed more than 70% of key scientific and

technological research projects of coal industries in China. CCTEG has also obtained more than 6000

3. China Communications Construction Company Limited

China Communications Construction Company Limited (“CCCC” or the “Company”), initiated and

founded by China Communications Construction Group (“CCCG”), was incorporated on 8 October

2006. Its H shares were listed on the Main Board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange with stock code of

1800.HK on 15 December 2006. The Company (including all of its subsidiaries except where the

content otherwise requires) is the first large state-owned transportation infrastructure group entering the

overseas capital market. As at 31 December 2009, CCCC has 112,719 employees and total asset of

RMB267,900 million (in accordance with PRC GAAP). Among 127 central enterprises governed by

SASAC, CCCC ranked No.12 in revenue and No.14 in profit for the year.

The Company and its subsidiaries (collectively, the “Group”) are principally engaged in the design

and construction of transportation infrastructure, dredging and heavy machinery manufacturing

business. It covers the following business aspects: port, terminal, road, bridge, railway, tunnel, civil

work design and construction, capital dredging and reclamation dredging, container crane, heavy marine

machinery, large steel structure and road machinery manufacturing, and international project

4. China International Water & Electric Corporation

China International Water & Electric Corporation (CWE in abbreviation), is a wholly-owned

subsidiary of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) and the earliest state-owned enterprise in Chinese

hydropower industry to participate in international economic cooperation. The present company name

was adopted in 1983; nevertheless, the history of CWE traces back to more than half a century ago when

it was a foreign aid unit within the Ministry of Water Conservancy and Electric Power of P. R. China.

Nowadays, CWE has been acknowledged as a famous brand in fields of international contracting

and small-to-medium hydropower investment. Many a project undertaken or developed by CWE was

imprinted in the world’s water and hydropower construction history, among which there are dams

symbolizing friendships between nations, projects hailed as “Three Gorges” in the project-host

countries, and large scale hydraulic complexes regarded as beacons of international cooperation.

With prominent achievements in its main business of water and hydropower and rich experience in

other infrastructure projects including transmission and transformation, roads and bridges, port

dredging, etc., CWE is wining more large scale EPC projects and steadily developing investment

projects. Its business indexes broke historic records for 9 consecutive years. In 2013, the newly-signed

international contracts have amounted to 1.8 billion U.S. dollars and the revenue approached 8 billion

yuan. CWE has undertaken projects in over 70 countries and regions and is running business units in 34

countries and regions in Asia, Africa, Europe, and America. Its total number of employees has exceeded

20,000, of which 75% are local employees, in 2013.

CWE holds the Grade I General Contracting Qualification for Water and Hydropower Projects,

International Contracting Permit, Import and Export Permit, and AAA credit rating. It is certified in

management systems of quality, occupational health and safety, and environment, and has the

contractor’s license at the highest level in all engineering categories in Hong Kong. The company has

been ranked for 25 consecutive years as one of the ENR TOP 250 International Contractors and for 14

consecutive years as one of the ENR TOP 225 International Design Firms.

5. China Machinery Engineering Corporation

China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) was built on its predecessor China National

Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corporation through an overall reorganization. On December

21st, 2012, CMEC was listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Founded in 1978, CMEC is the first

large engineering & trade company in China, in which China National Machinery Industry Corporation

(SINOMACH) now has a controlling stake. It is a conglomerate taking engineering contracting as its

core business and integrating trade, R&D, and international service.

After painstaking efforts for more than three decades, CMEC has successfully reshaped its business

pattern, and evolved into an internationally reputed and domestically leading engineering contractor

mainly engaged in international projects and trade. As a world-renowned engineering contractor, CMEC

has been ranked among China’s top 10 contractors by the business turnover from overseas contracted

projects by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce for many consecutive years.

CMEC has always taken the leadership in the international contracting market, and, in particular,

been recognized as “China’s First” in a number of international projects. As for its business in the power

sector, in the 1980s, CMEC contracted the 210MW Guddu Thermal Power Station under the export

seller’s credit, the first of its kind in China. With the advent of the new century, CMEC took the lead to

introduce the made-in-China 600MW supercritical coal-fired generator set to the international market,

which has been connected to the grid for power generation. CMEC has also made outstanding

According an IPSOS report, CMEC ranked 4th in 2012 among Chinese contractors in terms of

revenue from international power and energy projects worldwide. In December 2012, CMEC’s EREN

2×600MW Supercritical Coal Fired Power Plant in Turkey won the Luban Prize (overseas project), the

highest prize for construction projects of China, making it the first coal fired power plant to win this

prize. At the 11th China Congress on Project Management held in November 2012, the Phase I project

of Puttalam Power Plant in Sri Lanka was accorded the China Project Management Achievement Award

by China Project Management Research Committee.

CMEC has extended its business reach to more than 150 countries and regions in the fields of

6. China National Complete Engineering Corporation (CCEC)

China National Complete Engineering Corporation (CCEC) was built on its predecessor China

Machinery Complete Equipment Engineering Corporation established in 1985 and administered by the

former National Machinery Industry Ministry. In the year 2005, China Machinery Complete Equipment

Engineering Corporation and China North Industrial Equipment Co. Ltd merged into China National

Machinery Industry Complete Engineering Corporation, and in the year 2011, reformed as China

National Complete Engineering Corporation. CCEC is a subsidiary of the National Machinery Industry

Corporation (SINOMACH), which is affiliated by the State-owned Assets Supervision and

Administration Commission of the State Council.

With near three decades development, CCEC has evolved into a comprehensive large-scale

international enterprise whose core businesses are project contracting of domestic and oversea municipal

infrastructure construction, agricultural development, energy source and environment protection and

related imports and exports trade. CCEC has service presence in a wide range, including infrastructure,

machinery, agriculture, petrochemicals, transportation, energy, power, environmental protection,

national defense and military fields, etc.

7. China National Electric Equipment Corporation Technology Co. Ltd.

Being the latest technology and commercial service subsidiary of China National Electric

Engineering Co. ltd. (Abbr. CNEEC), China National Electric Equipment Corporation Technology Co.

Ltd. (Abbr. CNEETC) was specially incorporated for the purpose to complete the electric power

industry chain, and to supply “one stop professional service” to all the partner of CNEEC.

Professional service in training, commissioning, commercial operation & maintenance as well as

overhaul for various capacity thermal, hydro and gas turbine power plants is the business scope of

CNEETC which is conducted by the comprehensive team of experienced professional engineers and

operation managers which ensured, and will ensure the scheduled project turn over and bond withdrawal

8. China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) was established in 1979 according to

the approval of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. As one of the pioneers performing

international contracting and economic cooperation, CCECC has been developed from the earlier

Foreign Aid Bureau of the Ministry of Railways of China into a large-scale state-owned enterprise with

Chinese National Super Grade Qualification for railway project contracting, and has been listed among

the world’s top 225 international contractors for many years by the Engineering News Record.

Since its execution of Tanzania-Zambia Railway, the biggest economic-aid project undertaken by

China in 1960s, CCECC has been in constant development. At present, CCECC’s business scope covers

project contracting, civil engineering design & consultancy, real estate development, import & export

trading, hotel management etc. The business activities of CCECC have spread over 60 countries in Asia,

Africa, America, Europe and Oceania with its overseas offices or subsidiaries established in more than

40 countries. By the end of 2012, the number of core staff of CCECC had exceeded 4,000 and that of

foreign employees exceeded 15,000, with annual newly-signed contract value of 7.4643 billion USD

among which a turnover of 1.756 billion USD had been achieved.

In recent years, CCECC has achieved rapid development, undertaking and executing numerous

significant projects ranging from railway, light rail, expressway to bridges, buildings, and municipal

works. CCECC has successfully signed the contracts for many large-scale projects in the past three

years, such as Nigeria Railway Modernization Project (Abuja-Kaduna Section) (contract value:850

million USD) in 2010; Ethiopia Mieso-Dawanle-Djibouti Port Railways Project (contract value: 1.98

billion USD) and Chad Railway Network EPC Project (contract value: 5.631 billion USD) in 2011;

Nigeria Railway Modernization Project (Lagos-Ibadan Section) (contract value:1.487 billion USD),

Nigeria Badagery Express Road Project (contract value:941 million USD) and Niger Railway Project

(contract value:998 million USD) in 2012. The number of CCECC’s projects in hand amounted to 242

with a total contract value of 19.2 billion USD by the end of 2012, which in turn guarantees CCECC for

its sustainable business development and ever growing strength for project contracting.
