These boys come from many different countries and schools, and are bound by a passion and talent for football. Established in 2005, to develop the beautiful game, the academy has gone from strength to strength.Currently with over 200 players, KLYS have achieved great success in Malaysia and International Tournaments .

KLYS Sponsorship BenefitsSponsors for KLYS 2014 will benefit from some or all of the following: -

1. Visibility in Malaysia and the Asian Region, through our training and tournament jerseys **

** The logos are not drawn to scale.** The Main Sponsor for KLYS 2014 will also have their logo printed on the sleeve of player and supporter travelling t-shirts.

We train or play matches on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Players are required to be in their KLYS training kits in these sessions. Matches are played against other Malaysian teams or teams visiting from Singapore Australia, Korea, Japan and United Kingdom. Tournament jerseys will be printed in two colours and worn by KLYS teams in matches and tournaments in Malaysia and around the region.

2. KLYS Invitational – KLYS host invitational tournaments. We invite local teams, and teams from other parts of Asia who have expressed interest in participating. We will give the Main Sponsor more prominence by:

• using your tents and umbrellas on the playing fields;• putting up posters, signs and/or A-boards at the field;• giving away some of your products during the Invitational;• mentioning you as our main sponsor in newspaper articles

3. For our Main and Secondary Sponsors, we will run (in your name) a half day football clinic for a charity that you support through your CSR activities.

4. Acknowledgement on our KLYS website, www.klys.com.my. Links to your website will likewise be provided.

5. Opportunities for joint promotions, for example:• for the Main Sponsor: KLYS Invitational tournaments can be co-branded

with you;• we can participate in any of your relevant community service efforts

around youth and/or sports;

6. Visibility in international tournaments - The Main Sponsor, Secondary Sponsor and Patrons for KLYS 2014 will have the option to sponsor the training and tournament jerseys for these prestigious tournaments.

About KL Youth Soccer (KLYS)

KL Youth Soccer (KLYS) is a non-profit organisation. Our purpose is to enrich the opportunities available for young people in the community to play more matches and improve the standard of play, teach team spirit and good sportsmanship in a competitive environment.Boys from the ages of 5 to 18years train and play in matches/tournaments up to three times a week to practise their football skills, strategies and fitness.In the seven years since its inception, KLYS has sent 17 teams to the Gothia Cup in Goteborg, Sweden ( this is the largest youth international football tournament in the world), and a teams to Florida, USA, for the ESPN Disney Cup, and to Denmark for the Dana Cup. KLYS has also sent teams to compete in numerous local and regional tournaments, including SEA Cup around Asia; ANZA Cup in Singapore; Bangkok Cup; and RSC 7's, SJCSC Football League, YFA Milo Cup, and UKRC Soccer Sevens in KL.KLYS also organises its own set of football invitational tournaments.

Skilled and multi-talented teams

KLYS members play in five age categories - U18, U15, U13, U11, and U9. They come from many different local and international schools and represent 25 different nationalities. The teams train up to three times a week.Some members have been trained in Spain, England, and France with Fundacion Real Madrid, Man Utd, Football Academy, Paris St Germaine, Arsenal Football Academy, and others. Two members were invited to try out for the Bolton Wanders youth team. One played for the West Ham Academy and Cardiff City FC, reserve team. A few more members have represented or still represent Malaysia and Selangor State in football events.Eight KLYS players have been accepted to play in semi-pro and pro teams in Malaysia and overseas including Kelantan FC; the U20 Maldives National Team; Olympique de Marsielle in France; Port Melbourne Sharks in Australia; AD Colmenar and Alcobendas AD in Spain.

Our Coaches

KLYS's Head Coach and Club Manager is Luis Pablo Pozzuto, an Argentinean who received his training from football legend Diego Maradona. Coach Luis was with the Argentina national junior team and later played for 1st division teams in Argentina, Venezuela, Scotland and Malaysia. In Malaysia he played for Penang FC where he won the FA Cup in 2001, and Kelantan where he won the league. He coached USM Penang in 2002, and then Public Bank. In 2005 he coached Malacca FC and successfully led them to their promotion to the M-League. In 2007-2008 he was the assistant coach for UPBM My Team.

Coach Luis is joined at KLYS by former Malaysian national player Mak Fatt Soon, who is now also playing for the Malaysian Veterans National team, and with Aidil Sulaiman, who played professionally in Singapore for Balestier United and Geylang United. He has also represented Singapore in futsal tournaments around Asia.

Awards and TrophiesKLYS members and teams have won several awards in the USA, Sweden, and in Asia.The Gothia Cup in Sweden attracts up to 1600 teams. KLYS teams have been far as the quarter finals for the Cup and Plate Divisions.The 24-year old SEA Cup is played in KL, Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta. KLYS made history when in 2010 one Club won in all 3 age groups. KLYS replicated this feat in 2011 and 2012.At ESPN-Disney Cup 2010, our U18 team was unbeaten in all the matches played and emerged the champion in the International division.
