Sensitive Data Posture Analysis (SDPA) solutions drive value for organizations by identifying sensitive data

Issues

Why is Sensitive Data Posture Analysis Necessary?

4

Outcomes

SDPA assists the organization understand the location of data that must be protected

Organizations may be hit by fines and sanctions for being out of regulatory and statutory compliance

SDPA will scan the repositories to locate the sensitive data and provide a report so remediation steps may be taken.

Sensitive data may be stored in uncontrolled areas and thereby pose a risk to the organization.

SDPA can identify and scan the repositories that to locate the sensitive data so organization will commit more resources to its protection.

Organizations are often unaware of the location of their most sensitive data to make better planning and resource commitments.

SDPA automatically scans the system on a regular basis which provides reports on the sensitive data.

During breech investigations it is difficult to determine quickly whether sensitive data has been compromised

Capabilities of Sensitive Data Posture Analysis

Protect Sensitive Information Locate sensitive data, understand security risk and proactively remediate Identify data repositories (such as collaboration sites, databases, applications and network

folders) that contain sensitive information that is either business critical or regulated

Locate and Classify Data Identify all available data sources and categorize or classify the level of sensitivity Address sensitive data in both structured and unstructured data sources

Automation Automated scan of all major data repositories, then evaluate the sensitivity and control level on

all found data Report showing a company’s overall level of exposure with a map to where all sensitive data

exists. This report provides the security function with the insights to remediate potential data breaches internally or work with a third-party provider to address
