The ~ Pointe Rotary Cub recently addressed letters to allGrosse Pointe governmental 'units, -arging close Co-operation incommunity service. The Citizens' Association of Grosse Pointe Park~ dUlroy the only source of co-operati"e efforhbould their cityplan carry. They have attempted to .how that their city plan willeliminate duplication il'l governmental functions. This is question-• We. Adoption of the city plan would create far Kreater dupliationof government, because it would Ultimately result in five GrossePointe Citie., without COmmon tie.

. Citizens of Groue Pointe Park Ibould ponder 'fVe11 before trad.be • provea form of government for an idea, promoted by a minor-ity group. We do not know what is really in the mind. of thoseattempting to put across this city plan, but we do believe that withthe change to the Manager plan, which they told u. last year wollldaolvc .all of our problems for the future, we oUlil'htto be satisfied toCo along as we are, and at least try out their 1940plan before adopt-ing a 1941 model. Who knows, maybe it is annexation to Detroitthey're aiming at. Mr. Wehmeier raised that issue in his publicitycampaip Jast week.
