Last month I let you all know that I was transitioning to working at home. It has only been a couple of weeks and I am slowly getting settled in to the new schedule and work environment. Some pros of working at home are getting to play my music without bothering my coworkers and not having as many interruptions throughout my work day. I do miss seeing Carla and my other teammates everyday but I stay connected through Podio, a Facebook-type website for office connectivity and work flow. I also log in on Skype and Carla and I communicate often that way. So even though I may be working at home 15 minutes away, I don’t feel disconnected and have been able to stay on top of my projects very easily. Some projects I’m working on right now are several support-raising brochures for missionaries. I’m also putting together the annual report for our board of trustees with our field summaries, charts, missionary photos, etc. It is a major undertaking each year but I’m so glad to be a part of the production. It’s exciting to see each year all of the things God has accomplished through Team Expansion. As of right now, Elizabeth is staying home with me on Mondays and Fridays. She does pretty well at home allowing me to keep working and taking breaks with her to play. Clayton and I made this decision for me to work at home to take care of Elizabeth part-time and now, as you know, prepare for the baby. I want to continue my ministry even after the baby comes. So we wanted me to go ahead and transition now so that things will be easier after September to continue on working. One crazy and exciting result of my pregnancy and due date is that Carla and I will be producing a summer tell magazine instead of the usual fall production. Lots of work to do! Looking at what is ahead for the coming year causes me to pause and stand in awe of what God has done this past year. Within 12 months I bought a house and car, became engaged and then married a wonderful man, became a step- mom to a beautiful and smart little girl, and I am now pregnant! I am so grateful. I keep pinching myself thinking I should be waking up from this glorious dream any minute now. I thank God for each of you for being a part of this journey with me. God’s provision through your financial, prayer support and your friendship - keeps me and this ministry going. 4112 Old Rou Road Louisville, KY 40299 [email protected] Oce: (800) 447-0800 Cell: (502) 468-8693 www.shaunaraymer.com www.facebook.com/shaunaruth www.teamexpansion.org www.emeraldhills.info www.facebook.com/teamexpansion www.facebook.com/emeraldhills @teamexpansion @shaunaruth77 Vol. X Issue VII March 2014 Shauna’s News Looking Ahead at’s right, folks! Perhaps you've been following events in Ukraine, where a political firestorm has created unrest in Kiev and Crimea. Across the globe in other regions like South Sudan and North Africa, our teams are wrestling with daily uncertainties. Whom can they trust? Upon what can they depend?

Here at Emerald Hills, our Director of Global Security carefully monitors world events, interacts with international communications networks, and communicates regularly with workers facing security issues in troubled lands. He helps our team members seek the balance between courage and commitment on the one hand, and safety and security on the other. Ultimately, the only real security comes from trusting in God's sovereign power. Thank you for your support for Christ's work through Team Expansion. Doug Lucas

✤ Thank God with me for the enormous privilege and blessing of my pregnancy! Pray for a healthy baby and safe delivery for us both.

✤ Continue to pray for Clayton and me as we teach, discipline and love Elizabeth. She is doing better with the transition but still struggles. Pray that Elizabeth and I will develop a deep bond and that I will have patience and wisdom as I navigate how to parent as a step-mom to a four year old.

✤ Two of our fields are in the news this month: Venezuela and Ukraine. Our workers remain safe, but please pray for peace in these countries. Ask God to give our workers wisdom.

Unreached People Group Dzala of Bhutan • Population: 23,000 • Language: Dzalakha • Religion: Buddhism • Evangelical: 1.1%Go to www.joshuaproject.net to learn more about unreached people groups and how to pray for them and for more harvest workers to go share the love of Jesus with them.

PRAYRaymer Family NewsWe are so excited to finally announce my pregnancy! I found out a couple of weeks after the wedding that we were having a “honeymoon baby.” I was surprised how fast it happened. I knew I didn’t want to wait long because of my age, but “wow!”

There has been some scares, which is why we waited so long to make it public. Since I’m 36 it makes it a higher risk pregnancy. We find ourselves anxiously wondering if

the baby is healthy or not. Honestly, it’s hard to be excited sometimes seeing what so many couples have gone through over the years.

I will start my second trimester soon and hope it brings energy and relief like most women have told me it will. I’m grateful my “morning sickness” hasn’t been too bad. It is mostly just queasiness, food aversions, and fatigue.

Elizabeth is very excited and proudly wears her “Big Sister” shirt - and tells everyone what it says everywhere we go. We’re all looking forward to finding out whether it’s a boy or girl. I’ll let you know when we know. My due date is currently September 15. Your prayers are appreciated!

Prayer Requests & Praises

Thanks VERY much to Jonesboro Christian Church in Jonesboro, GA, I was able to purchase a much needed new computer. My mac was over seven years old and was on its last leg. It served me well, but it was definitely time for a new and improved one.

After a Skype meeting with the Jonesboro missions committee they gave a special gift to cover a new computer. I now am the proud

owner of a 2013 Macbook Pro with lots of bells and whistles to help my ministry be more productive and get projects done way faster than before!

A New Computer!
