This is a wonderful study of the Bible led by Grover Jacobs for senior adults. If you are looking for fellowship and a great study in God's Word, then you are invited and encouraged to attend this group.

We will travel to LaGrange, Georgia to the “Explorations in Antiquity Center”. There we will experience replicas of structures relevant to daily life in Biblical times. We will travel by van and leave the church at 9:00 a.m. The cost is

Preschoolers would like to invite their moms to share the morning with them on Mother’s Day. Mu�ns will be shared during the �rst few minutes of Sunday school. This will start at 9:00 a.m. This will be a special time for moms to start the day with
their children.
Mother’s Day Out NewsKindergarten graduation will be May 18. We have a great group of K4’s that we will recognize this year.
Summer school will begin June 7. We still have openings from 6 weeks to 2nd grade. A ton of fun has been planned to make this a super summer.

Parent/Child Dedication
Parent/Child dedication will be on Sunday, May 22. This will be held during the morning worship service. This is a very meaningful time set aside for parents to dedicate their children to the Lord. If you would like to participate in this special

need pictures of the child to add to the order of worship.

Sunday, May 1, is the opening day to register for Kids’ Camp: Zeroes to Heroes. We will be in the Grand Foyer before and after the morning and evening services. Kids’ Camp is June 20-23 at Camp Chandler. It will be a great time of fun, learning and spiritual growth. We will look at some serious heroes from the Bible and how we can learn to rely on God’s strength.
Wednesday, May 18 will be Parents vs. Children, Capture the Flag. Meet in the Rally Room at 6:45 p.m. for an intense game of capture the �ag against some seriously competitive kids.
Wednesday, May 25 is the �nal night of AWANA. Don’t forget, this will be the last AWANA store of the year!
Sunday, May 29 is AWANA Racers and Closing Ceremonies. This is immediately following the morning service, in the Student Center. Join us for hotdogs, Pinewood derby races and end of the year recognition. Yourchild will receive their car on May 4. If you feel inadequate to the task of making a car, that is okay—we have some Dad’s who are just itching to help. Just let us know.

Parents: We are in the process of pooling all of our contact information to make sure that you are informed of all that is going on in the student ministry. We need email addresses, cell phone numbers (especially if you text), home phone numbers, etc. Also, you can go like the student ministry's facebook page and stay up to date by checking the student ministry website - addresses listed at the top.
May is the o�cial month of the end of school. It is also the month of registration deadlines. If you would like to go to Student Life Camp this Summer (June 20-24) you need to be signed up by May 15 with a deposit of $100.
Also, the $100 deposit for our International Mission Board, World Changers trip to Ottawa, Canada is due the same day. Please contact the student ministry o�ce for details, or check out our facebook page, website, or bulletin board.
Friday Night, May 6, we will be hosting a river region worship night. From 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. several churches in the area will join us for a night of worship and celebration. This is a free event and there will be a time for our student praise band to learn from other local worship leaders.
Sunday, May 15, is our Graduation Recognition Sunday. Please be in attendance to support our graduates as they are recognized in the morning service. Also, there will be a student ministry fellowship after the evening service.
Monday, May 30 is our Memorial Monday Melee. We will meet at the church for games of all types to kick-o� the Summer. We will meet at 6:00 p.m. and play outdoor and indoor games until 10:00 p.m. Bring a friend and $5 for dinner. Friends are free. Prizes will be awarded for several of the games.

The dates are set for our third mission trip to Guatemala, October 1-8, 2011. The team will be involved in
witnessing, prayer walking and working with the SBC missionaries. Please pray as to how you can be a part of
this important trip that will change lives.
Three ways to help: (1). Make a commitment to GO.(2). Pray for those who will GO.
(3) Give that others may GO.
We are looking for a team of 8-12 peopleto make up the team. Contact Dean if you are interested.
